Thanks to my friend, @LauralDawn, I tried out this amazing recipe the yesterday. I’ve made a few small changes to the original recipe and am so excited to be adding this to our breakfast repertoire. Be sure to visit my tried and true simple recipe for Sugar Cookies after you read these tips. Here are my tips. These suggestions can be used in more recipes than just Sugar Cookies, but this is where I find them most useful. Put your cookie dough in the fridge for approximately 10 minutes prior to rolling. Use icing sugar instead of flour to make your surfaces (counter, hands and rolling pin) non-stick. I absolutely adore fudge! I never knew just how easy it can be to make until I tried. Now, my husband requests this fudge every single year during the Holidays! It’s a family favourite. Shortbread is one of my all time favourite types of cookies! This recipe is so easy to make and do the cookies ever turn out delicious! They can stay plain OR they can be decorated with holiday “sprinkles”. Shortbread Cookies INGREDIENTS1 lb soft butter1 cup sifted icing sugar1 cup sifted cornstarch3 cups flour DIRECTIONSIn an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar to a creamy mixture.
