Wet Wednesdays: Trying to Stay Dry at Night with @SuperUndies

Our Potty Training History with my son can be read here:Finally Diaper Free Post #1Finally Diaper Free Post #2Finally Diaper Free Post #3Mommy’s Christmas Present This Year!Potty Training UpdateFinally Diaper Free RoundUp My son is 4 years old. He has been day time potty trained for just over a year now, however, he continues to be VERY wet at night time. This wouldn’t be an issue, as I know that many children take longer to train at night, however, it is affecting his sleep because he wakes up due to leakage and how much wetness he is producing. This fall, … Continue reading

A Fresher, Younger Looking You in 2013 with Olay #PGMom

A few years ago, I remember having a conversation about aging skin with my sister in law, who is 13 years older than me. She was talking about how she had to start taking care of her skin better now that she was over 40 because the wrinkles would be starting soon. I remember thinking to myself, why not start now and that way I won’t have a “last minute panic” about wrinkles and that is what I did. I started a new face routine that included moisturizing every morning and every night amongst other things and I believe that … Continue reading

Rice Krispies Fun with #Kelloggs

Over the holidays, we had some dear friends over for a much over due visit. Last time we had them over, we made some fun treats for dessert, so I decided to make this part of our tradition. This time, we made some fun holiday Rice Krispies Treats together. What I love about Rice Krispies treats is that we can modify them to go along with any occasion simply by changing up the decorations that we use. Check out what the kids made this time: You can find the recipe for how to make Rice Krispies Treats here. Here are … Continue reading

Smart Seat Dining Chair Covers {REVIEW}

When my kids were little and we carted around our food booster seat wherever we went, I also brought a towel with me in case we had to put their feeding chair on a NICE dining room chair. My kids were (and still are) messy eaters and I never wanted to be responsible for ruining someone’s beautiful dining room chairs! My Mom always has a large towel put out on all of the chairs that my children eat on when we go to visit in order to contain their messes so that they do not ruin her nice dining room … Continue reading

Perspective from @CodiePrevost

We just had a flood in our house. I panicked when I came home to it (the toilet was GUSHING water everywhere), I cried as I mopped up the water and tried to salvage our storage items that were underneath the basement. The emergency clean up crew just left and I came to sit down on the computer for a few minutes when I saw this video from Codie Prevost. It helps to put the entire thing in perspective for me. I am grateful that my family is safe and healthy and I feel terrible for those who aren’t. Beautiful … Continue reading
