Every year, I have a list of holiday treats that I make. One of those treats includes my Grandmother’s recipe for Almond Bars, otherwise known as Desperation Cake. I have no idea where the name Desperation Cake comes from, but that is ok. To me, it will always be called that. In the summertime, my children and I were able to attend a Toys R Us vendor display where the kids and I were able to test out many great toys from a large variety of companies. The one toy that stood out to my 7 year old daughter, who loves arts and crafts, was the Crayola Marker Airbrush.
