Crayola Rocks My World! (REVIEW)

I love Crayola products! I always have, ever since I was a little kid. Opening up fresh, new crayons got me almost as excited as Christmas morning – I know, I’m a freak! When I was a Kindergarten Teacher, I had the opportunity to order either Crayola products or another brand that I won’t mention. One year, I decided to attempt to save money in my (small) budget by ordering the other brand. I learned my lesson! Never again would I make that mistake. Crayola products are quality products and they stand up to the test, they always have for … Continue reading

Children’s Accudial: Rotating Dosing Label (REVIEW and GIVEAWAY)

In Ontario, we have a telephone help system called TeleHealth in place for when you have health/medical related problems and you either:a) Don’t want to go to your doctor.b) Your doctor is unavailable and you don’t want to go or aren’t sure if you should go to the hospital.c) You want a second opinion. I have called TeleHealth a few times when I am unsure about one of my childrens’ fevers and one thing that I have learned from them is how to properly dose fever reducing medication according to weight. The problem is that children grow (like weeds) and … Continue reading

“Today I Ate a Rainbow” – Healthy Eating Encouragement for Kids!

Back in August, I wrote a post about a grocery shopping trip that my daughter and I took together where she asked me if we could buy enough food so that when we got home we could eat a Rainbow Snack. That afternoon, we did indeed eat a rainbow snack! I cannot express what a proud and happy Mama I was! My daughter actually ASKED to EAT A RAINBOW! This made me think of a company that I had seen around Twitter for quite some time, so I decided to contact them about my post and potentially reviewing their amazing … Continue reading

OxiClean® Versatile Stain Remover Powder (REVIEW)

I received a bucket of OxiClean® Versatile Stain Remover Powder to test out in my home. This powder is a “new formula” for OxiClean® that contains 40% more oxygen power per scoop. I really like using OxiClean® to boost my laundry, especially my whites loads. I find that it helps to brighten the whites and helps to get the clothing that much cleaner. I use a very natural type of laundry “soap” that is AMAZING, but there are times when the stains just won’t come out. I find that after adding a small scoop of OxiClean® Versatile Stain Remover Powder … Continue reading

Picture It Books – Picture Books Where Your Child is the Illustrator!

My daughter and I have fallen in love with Picture It Picture Books! These books are story books that have all of the words, but the pages are blank above the text, all ready for a child’s creativity and imagination. For a child who loves to draw, these books will help their drawings come alive. My daughter has now illustrated a couple of these books and it is so amazing to see how proud she is that she is in fact the illustrator of a book. She will go an select a story to be read to her at bedtime … Continue reading
