My daughter is LOVING the Rainbow Magic chapter book series. She has collected quite a few of the books over the past year and reads them over and over again! I was pretty excited to find out that there is an Olympic themed one called Olympia the Games Fairy! This looks like a great read for young chapter book readers this summer! LEGO is a great rainy day activity! In the summer months, there are also quite a few hot days where children are looking for something to keep them occupied. In 1987, at the Alliston Potato Festival, a new kettle cooked potato chip was introduced to Canada. I remember when I first had Miss Vickie’s chips because my Aunt served them to us and I fell in love with them immediately! When SnuggleBugz contacted me to check out their online store, I was very excited! Special K Cracker Chips are a crunchy, light snack (containing approximately 80 calories per serving). They come in three flavours: Original, Sour Cream & Onion, Cheddar. Sliderties ~ a teaching aid for tying shoelaces

My goal was to have my daughter learn how to tie shoe laces this summer, as she will be entering grade two and I figured it was time. Ironically, she came home in June announcing that she needed a new pair of shoes because hers weren’t fitting her properly and she requested tie up shoes.
