REVIEW: Febreze Allergen Reducer

Recently we were given a bottle of Febreeze Allergen Reducer to try out. If used as directed, it has been known to reduce 75% of allergens from pollen and dust mites that accumulate and become airborne from fabrics in your home. I have no way of testing exactly how effective the spray was, but I can definitely tell you my thoughts on it! Pros I like how it has a light scent. We aren’t big on overpowering scents in our house. This spray had just the right amount of scent to it, in my opinion It has an easy to … Continue reading

GIVEAWAY: Always Infinity

Always Infinity has now become available in Canada! Always Infinity pads are made with a new absorbent core that has the power to absorb 10x its weight. Definitely worth a try, I’d say! I have received my own box to try out, but fortunately for me, I continue to be period free after the birth of my son. I got my period at 9 months after the birth of my daughter. I’m curious how long it will be this time around, we’re rapidly approaching the 9 months now. Oh, I hope that I make it through the summer, that would … Continue reading

Review: Skincare for MEN by Monica Olsen

My hubby is a very simple man. When I was offered the Travel Kit for Men by Monica Olsen’s SKIN line, I wasn’t sure what he would say to trying it out. After realizing that this is the same line that I have fallen in love with using, he was game to give it a shot! We are both glad that he agreed. One thing that I, personally, was impressed with was the fact that their men’s line didn’t have a super strong scent. Many men don’t like to use many skin care products due to their feminine smell. … Continue reading

REVIEW: My Little Seat

When I came across My Little Seat, I was pretty excited to try it out. I constantly have a booster chair in my car, I don’t like trekking it around everywhere and restaurant high chairs are often so gross (even though we do have one of those great covers). When I received my sample to try out, I just couldn’t wait. I set it up on our kitchen chair, but unfortunately our kitchen chairs have a fairly high back and the “My Little Seat” didn’t work on our chairs. I was bummed. However, despite the fact that it doesn’t work … Continue reading

Product Review: Grill Daddy Pro

I remember one year for Mother’s Day, we got my Mom a bbq brush. At the time, somehow, my Dad had convinced us that this is what my Mom would want and we were genuinely excited to give it to her. You can imagine the confusion we felt when she opened it, started to cry and stormed up to her room for the rest of the day. Men! My Dad was always and continues to be a brutal shopper for gifts for my Mom. He still needs reminders of special dates too. My hubby is somewhat obsessed with bbq brushes. … Continue reading

Review: President’s Choice Meats

I can’t believe President’s Choice products have been around for 25 years! I remember my very first exposure to President’s Choice when I was a kid. I really do. My Mom’s really good friend served us this delicious ice cream made by President’s Choice. Recently, I was given coupons to try out the new line of President’s Choice meats. We sampled the PC Air Chilled Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts, PC Free From Pork Back Ribs and PC Tender & Tasty Beef. My son truly enjoyed his very first ribs experience! By far, our family’s favourite were the Free From Pork … Continue reading

Review: Skin by Monica Olsen

Recently, I was provided with a few samples of Skin by Monica products to try out. Am I ever grateful that have had the opportunity. I don’t know what I love more, the fact that all of the products are free of parabens, urea, alcohol, petroleum and other harmful chemicals or that they simply go on your skin so perfectly. Here is what I have tried: RESTORE MSM Facial Cleanser Orange BlossomComments: I simply LOVE the smell of this cleanser, more than any other facial cleanser that I have used. It reminds me of something from my childhood, I can’t … Continue reading

MTM Recommends: Diapees & Wipees

I was given a Diapees and Wipees bag when my son was first born. Although I didn’t use it at the beginning because diaper changes required too many implements, I am going to start using it now for sure. Diapee Wipees are great little fashionable pouches to carry your diaper changing needs so that they are discreet and all in one place. They even make the bags in a waterproof option, which I think is brilliant! I hate bringing my entire diaper bag into a change area for two reasons:a) There often is nowhere to put it and I HATE … Continue reading

Review: Nurture Pure Glass Baby Bottles

Recently, I have had the chance to review a Nurture Pure glass baby bottle. I have to say that using glass baby bottles does make me feel confident that we are providing my son with a safe material to drink from. There are plenty of bottles out there that are deemed safe and are plastic, but glass is glass. There are no questions about what is in it. The Nuture Pure bottles are specifically made with safety in mind. They are non-toxic and free from chemicals such as Bisphenol A, phthalate and dangerous plastics such as Polycarbonate and PVC. The … Continue reading
