Rice Krispies Fun with #Kelloggs

Over the holidays, we had some dear friends over for a much over due visit. Last time we had them over, we made some fun treats for dessert, so I decided to make this part of our tradition. This time, we made some fun holiday Rice Krispies Treats together. What I love about Rice Krispies treats is that we can modify them to go along with any occasion simply by changing up the decorations that we use. Check out what the kids made this time: You can find the recipe for how to make Rice Krispies Treats here. Here are … Continue reading

Smart Seat Dining Chair Covers {REVIEW}

When my kids were little and we carted around our food booster seat wherever we went, I also brought a towel with me in case we had to put their feeding chair on a NICE dining room chair. My kids were (and still are) messy eaters and I never wanted to be responsible for ruining someone’s beautiful dining room chairs! My Mom always has a large towel put out on all of the chairs that my children eat on when we go to visit in order to contain their messes so that they do not ruin her nice dining room … Continue reading

#NoTradesies School Lunch Ideas with Snack Packs

On New Year’s Eve, I made some fun chocolate cookie pudding pops using my new popsicle maker. The recipe called for pudding so I used two Snack Packs, vanilla flavour. Our dessert pops turned out so delicious! The popsicles were super easy to make, however, the most convenient thing about Snack Packs is that they make a yummy and fun addition to a child’s lunch bag for school. Making lunches fun is something that I love to do! I love to use cookie cutters and sandwich cutters to create fun shapes. I love to get creative with notes in my … Continue reading

We played, ate and slept everything Dora. We talked like Dora, we dressed like Dora, you name it, my daughter was all over it. This past holiday season, Dora Playsets were a very popular toy amongst young children. I have a wonderful opportunity for … Continue reading

Gift Ideas from Crayola

In the summertime, my children and I were able to attend a Toys R Us vendor display where the kids and I were able to test out many great toys from a large variety of companies. The one toy that stood out to my 7 year old daughter, who loves arts and crafts, was the Crayola Marker Airbrush. We had so much fun putting in regular Crayola Markers (something we have A LOT of in our house), using the stencils and spraying to make a variety of creations. This Marker Airbrush of course creates washable marks (gotta love Crayola markers … Continue reading

Congratulations @Kobo for Receiving the @PTPA Award!

Whenever I see the PTPA Award (Parent Tested, Parent Approved), I automatically trust whatever the product is that it is a good quality, well tested item! This is why I was so excited to hear the news that the Kobo Mini and Kobo Glo both received the PTPA Award! My daughter is a bookaholic. She reads so much and loves it that books were the only thing on her Christmas Wish List at one point! Books are over taking her bedroom and my husband and I have discussed having her use a Kobo numerous times, but I wasn’t convinced. Now … Continue reading
