Foodie Friday: Saving Money on Groceries

Last week, I read a post about cutting down on grocery spending each month on My Little Review Corner. Grocery bills are something that I struggle with. Groceries are a necessity, but not everything that I come with is. I can’t help but wondering what percentage of our food goes to waste? Now that my son is potty trained during the day, at least I am not buying box after box of diapers each month, because that can certainly add up. But, where else can I cut my spending? I’ve tried my best to only buy things that we will use. … Continue reading

Looking for #EqualCanada at Walmart via #CBias

My son and I embarked on an adventure this morning after dropping my daughter off at the bus. We went to look for Equal at Walmart. In particular, we were searching for a canister of Equal that was on Rollback for $7.97!Since the beginning of January, I have been on a Getting Healthy Challenge. This has been difficult for me especially because I have been trying REALLY hard to stay away from baked goods. I have a huge sweet tooth and I have broken down a few times. Because of this, I was thinking that I should try out baking … Continue reading

This Guest Post has been written and submitted by Wendy (also known as @mapsgirl). I can’t thank MTM enough for wanting me to share my girls’ story with you! For the last 9 months, my daughter, Rachel, has been growing her hair so that it will be long enough to donate. In May 2011, I suggested to Rachel that we cut her hair. Help Your Daughter Build a Healthy Self-image by Re-shaping Yours

This guest post has been written and submitted by Ivana Pejakovic, Life Coach in Toronto. Your self-image is your perspective of yourself. This is a natural process many girls follow. As a little girl, all you wanted is to be like your mom (with a few individual exceptions). You wanted to wear her clothes, put on her make-up, use the same gestures, be a part of the things she was … Continue reading
