My friend over at Maple Leaf Mommy is going to be cutting her hair to raise money for cancer research. For every $100 raised in donations, she will be cutting off an inch of her lovely LONG (did I say L.O.N.G) hair. The donations will be given to the Canadian Cancer Society and her hair will go to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program. Last Friday, I had the privilege of attending WeDay, an annual event organized by the Canadian charity Free The Children. There were 20000 students at the Air Canada Centre who were empowered, inspired to be the best that they can be, entertained and encouraged to help others in this world who are less fortunate! WeDay was honestly the most inspirational event I have ever attended. I walked away feeling inspired, proud of the students and in awe of the sheer magnitude of energy that these students possessed.
