“I felt like Cinderella, except my carriage was the Subway and my glassslippers were from The Gap”Greetings Blogger World! I’m Mel, very novice blogger and BFF of Multi-Testing Mommy’s blogger bud Ms Key (old of gold stars) and had the great privilege of representing this blog at a launch event last week for the re-release of Disney’s Cinderella (Diamond Edition) on Blue-ray (yes it’s “out of the vault”, folks!!). As a life-long Disney fan I jumped at the chance! When I found out the event was co-sponsored by Christian Louboutin? Well I pretty much jumped around like a kid in … Continue reading

Some Good @ScholasticCDA Reads

I absolutely LOVE reading childrens’ books! Getting lost in the story and illustrations of a good childrens’ book, if even for a few minutes, is something that I truly enjoy. Of course, snuggling up with my children and reading a book with them is even better. This is something that we should all try to do once a day with our kids. Reading books to our children, when they are young (and even not so young) is so important to helping to establish an interest in books, literacy skills as well as a good, strong bond with with our children. … Continue reading

As much as we hope that our children will share everything with us, in some cases, they do not feel comfortable and Kids Help Phone could be the only place they feel that they can turn to. This fall, over 6 million young people will be heading back to public schools, colleges and universities and many of them will need help adjusting to the back to school season.Whether your … Continue reading

Fun with @HexBug Toys {REVIEW}

This summer, my husband bought our kids each a Hexbug Nano. They received them while we were up at the cottage. These Hexbugs provided the children with hours of entertainment. As soon as the Hexbugs were turned on, you could hear giggles that I’m sure went across the lake! Admittedly, the kids weren’t the only ones screaming and giggling, all of the adults got in on the fun too! My husband knows me well so when he heard the excitement in my voice when I was explaining to him how much fun these toys were, he got a bright idea! … Continue reading

TextBands from @Hallmark_Canada

Multi-Testing Mommy is a proud member of the Hallmark Press Pause Team for 2012!One of the recent products that we have had the opportunity to test out are Text Bands. You can see Text Bands in action here:My 7 year old daughter thought that these Text Bands were the coolest idea, but she was frustrated when her 3.5 year old brother didn’t understand how to play with them together. He was super good at the high fives and fist bumps to trade messages, but he is still a bit young to type out his own messages. As a Mom – … Continue reading
