  2. My boys are pretty easy to care for, and my little girl is a touch too young to experience her hair being done (8 weeks!). But, when I was doing my nieces and sister’s hair when I was younger, water with a touch of conditioner in it worked great. This brush looks like it would have taken most of the struggles away however! Would love this on hand before my littlest requires it, so she knows of nothing else;)

  3. My kids just got hair and I don’t yet have a brush…

Thanks for making this open to Canadians.

We use a tea tree oil spray in the mornings on the hair & any hats to help reduce the chances of unwelcomes pests coming home.

Allow more time. Don’t leave everything to the last minute.

  6. Shari G says:

My tip? Buzz it off, or cut it super short….but of course I have boys 😉

  7. saskmom says:

For me it would be getting it cut to a reasonable length to make it more manageable.

  8. MarianU says:

My tip: A short boys haircut works great. Not sure what I will do with my daughter but I like reading the tips.

My granddaughter’s hair is extremely curly & gets tangled very easily. We have a detangler spray that works wonders, but the Knot Genie sounds like it would be a fantastic addition to our routine.

  14. Jennifer says:

I homeschool so it isn’t a real big issue. But my daughter has recently gone from using the kiddy body wash/shampoo and is now using my shampoo and conditioner. It helps with the tangles when she brushes her hair after her shower.

  15. Nancy Tch says:

Both of my DDs have super curly hair. We braid it at night to help keep some of the knots out. In the morning it’s a quick spary with water and some leave in conditioner before brushing.

  16. josiefiorda says:

I use leave in conditioner. Spray a bit on and the knots usually come out pretty good

My girls like to have their hair braided at night before they go to bed. When they wake up in the morning they take the braids out. Their hair is curly and very easy to brush because they have no knots.

  41. if its a girl and they keep it clean and combed then treat them to hairbands and pretty things for their hair buttttt if they dont want to let you wash it or comb it…then cut it lol. but a spray bottle to help flatten it in the early morning rush of going to school
