REVIEW: Santa Cruz Organics

I was lucky enough to be contacted by someone representing Santa Cruz Organics again this year offering me samples of the four new flavours of Fruit Spreads and two new flavours of Fruit Sauces available. We were offered to sample the Peanut Butter, but I did turn it down as my family has been spoiled by the more “artificially” flavoured peanut butters out there and therefore the pure, no added sugars and no artificial ingredients in the Santa Cruz Organics peanut butters aren’t an option for us. Anyhow, let me tell you how much of a hit the Fruit Sauces … Continue reading

REVIEW: Silk Soy Beverage

A little while back I tried out a container of Silk Chocolate Soy Beverage and I am happy to report that I was very pleasantly surprised. I have tried soy beverages in the past and have honestly not been a huge fan, so naturally I was a tad reluctant. I’m not sure I would choose this as a drink of choice, however, I was also introduced to the variety of options as far as recipes go with this chocolate beverage go. I made quite possibly the best chocolate pudding I’ve ever tasted with this soy beverage. I’ve tried making chocolate … Continue reading

REVIEW: CoverMates

I received a Variety Pack of CoverMates to try out and I have to say, I like them for some reasons and I dislike them for others! We own many tupperware containers as well as glass bowls with lids, but let’s face it, there are also many times I don’t want to transfer the leftover food only to dirty another container and plastic wrap is the only option. Well, now I can use CoverMates instead and not feel as guilty because they are reusable and washable too! The one negative, I found is that when I wash them, they take … Continue reading

This light, refreshing tea taste is sweetened with crisp Fuji apple flavour. NESTEA Vitao™ Açai Blueberry Red Tea is made from the South African Red Bush – rooibos. Santa Cruz Organics

I have been trying to purchase organic food when it is feasible (due to availability, price and the Dirty Dozen). I was super excited when I received my Santa Cruz Organics products to try out. We were given peanut butter, fruit sauces, chocolate sauce, juice, sodas and juice boxes to test out and most of them have been a huge hit in our house. By far, the biggest hit were the juice boxes. They were the perfect size because I don’t like giving my kids too much juice each day! They also had cute Berenstein Bear characters on them. They … Continue reading

REVIEW: My Little Seat

When I came across My Little Seat, I was pretty excited to try it out. I constantly have a booster chair in my car, I don’t like trekking it around everywhere and restaurant high chairs are often so gross (even though we do have one of those great covers). When I received my sample to try out, I just couldn’t wait. I set it up on our kitchen chair, but unfortunately our kitchen chairs have a fairly high back and the “My Little Seat” didn’t work on our chairs. I was bummed. However, despite the fact that it doesn’t work … Continue reading

Review: President’s Choice Meats

I can’t believe President’s Choice products have been around for 25 years! I remember my very first exposure to President’s Choice when I was a kid. I really do. My Mom’s really good friend served us this delicious ice cream made by President’s Choice. Recently, I was given coupons to try out the new line of President’s Choice meats. We sampled the PC Air Chilled Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts, PC Free From Pork Back Ribs and PC Tender & Tasty Beef. My son truly enjoyed his very first ribs experience! By far, our family’s favourite were the Free From Pork … Continue reading

Product Review and Poll: Canada Dry Green Tea Gingerale

My Canada Dry Green Tea Gingerale arrived for sampling just in time for me to try it with my daughter while we were testing out the Christmas cookies that we had just baked together. We were in need of a drink to accompany our cookies and the Canada Dry Green Tea Gingerale was a welcomed option! Here is my tea break with my daughter: I’ve tried to hook myself onto Green Tea as a healthier hot beverage alternative to my much needed coffee in the morning and truth be told, I just haven’t been successful. I find Green Tea to … Continue reading
