Fun Food with @SquishySnakPak {REV!EW and G!VEAWAY}

My son, who is four, is a rather picky eater. It is challenging to get his daily intake of fruits and veggies into him on a good day! One thing that I discovered a few months ago were what I called “Apple Squishies”. They are applesauce in a disposible, drinkable squeeze bag. He loves these snacks and he really likes to take them for his school lunches, however, it has always bothered me how much waste we have produced by using them. Can I tell you how excited I was when I discovered Squishy Snak Paks?! They are practically identical … Continue reading

Hot Breakfast with #Kelloggs

Recently, we tested out Eggo Minis* Original Waffles and Special K* Flatbread Morning Sandwich – Egg, Ham, and Pepper Jack Cheese for breakfast. Ok, confession time, maybe for breakfast AND lunch! Kids love itty bitty things. Who knows why, there is something about tiny things that make them fun! My kids were all over the mini waffles. They come attached together in four and my four year old son loves to take a small butter knife and cut them apart all by himself. My 7 year old daughter really loved it when I made here mini waffle “sandwiches”. I have … Continue reading

Holiday Treats with @PresChoice #PCHoliday

When I was young, I remember visiting my Mom’s friend’s house. This woman was (and still is) a trend follower. She is always up with the latest and greatest! It was at that visit that I was first introduced to President’s Choice and what an introduction it was! She served the PC Candy Cane Chocolate Fudge Crackle Ice Cream for dessert and from that day forward, I was sold on President’s Choice products. I remember reading through the President’s Choice Insider’s Report and drooling over all of the fun and interesting new foods that were available and as soon as … Continue reading

Rachel Ray VS. Guy Fieri: CELEBRITY COOK-OFF

My daughter and I have started a new Mommy/Daughter “bonding time” tradition! We like to walk the Food Network and many of their awesome cooking shows together. It’s “grown up tv” that is safe, most of the time, for children! My daughter is 7, but most days you would think she was going on 17 so any opportunity to feel like a “big girl” is well received by her. It’s challenging for us to find time alone together to watch these shows, so when her brother finally nods off to sleep at night, we often find ourselves sneaking into my … Continue reading
