Walrooz Connectable Sled {REVIEW}

This winter has been the most unpredictable winter I can remember as far as weather and snow is concerned. We received a sled back in December for review and we have either been away, sick or the weather hasn’t cooperated enough for us to be able to test it out. The sled has been hanging our garage, all lonely like this: FINALLY we received a decent snowfall and we are all feeling healthy! What a miracle. I don’t know if it is because I neglected to remove the sticker prior to putting the sled in the cold garage or if … Continue reading

My #campmemories

When I was in Grade 9 going into Grade 10, my parents sent me to Music Camp with a good family friend of ours. My parents were very hesitant to send me, but as well as being a tad nervous, I remember being SO excited! It was just at the time of my life when I really needed some time away from home. Camp was a great place to send me because it was away from home, it was supervised and it was a growing and learning experience for me. Not only did I get to play music for hours … Continue reading

It’s Time to Say YES – Procter & Gamble #Giveaway

In any given day, how often do you say NO to your child vs how many times you say YES. Although I try to be conscious of limiting the amount of “No’s” that I use, I still say that word an awful lot to my children. Children don’t like to hear the word NO do they? I don’t blame them!I try to use the word “maybe” more often then “no”. My three year old seems to deal with the word maybe much better than the word no because he understands that with maybe, there is a chance I might say … Continue reading

Beauty and the Beast in Disney Digital 3D arrives in Theatres today! *REVIEW*

Last weekend, my daughter and I had the fun opportunity to view an Advanced Screening of Beauty and the Beast in Disney Digital 3D”! When I was in Grade 9, my best friend bought me a copy of Beauty and the Beast on VHS (ok now am I admitting just how old I really am?!) for Christmas (or my birthday – it was *that* long ago that I actually don’t remember). There was a sentimental reason for this gift that unfortunately I don’t remember any more, but nonetheless, it was a wonderful gift! I just recently passed along that video … Continue reading
