This winter has been the most unpredictable winter I can remember as far as weather and snow is concerned. We received a sled back in December for review and we have either been away, sick or the weather hasn’t cooperated enough for us to be able to test it out.
The sled has been hanging our garage, all lonely like this:
FINALLY we received a decent snowfall and we are all feeling healthy! What a miracle.
I don’t know if it is because I neglected to remove the sticker prior to putting the sled in the cold garage or if it is just one of those stickers that is super sticky, but I couldn’t remove the sticker without it looking terrible, so I chose to leave it on the sled.
This sled comes in two sizes: adult and kid. This allows for an entire family to have fun sledding down snowy hills together. What a wonderful and exciting way to spend a wintery afternoon together! They can also conveniently be used separately for those crazy stunt kids in your family.
The sleds are available at www.oyaco.com in a variety of colours. OYACO is a Canadian distributor of innovative, safe and high quality baby, maternity and children’s products.
Check out this video for how the Walrooz Sleds connect and work:
I love how even when the sleds are connected, there is still a handle left to hold onto – this is key for spazzy Mommies when heading to the slopes for some sledding adventures! I also like how they are somewhat flexible for when you are using just one so you can lift the front end up.
These sleds would make an excellent winter birthday gift and they are very reasonably priced.

I know this winter has sucked so far for snow. My little guy does not love sleds yet, but hopefully by next winter he will enjoy it.
Love that these come in sizes for adults too, why should kids have all the fun?!?
We finally have enough snow and I have to work all weekend. POOOO. Have fun for all of us.
Adorable! My kids would love these so much. Yup…strange winter, indeed. Mom loves this weather, kids not so much, they want to play outside in the snow.
It feels like we skipped the winter this year and headed straight for spring. Albeit today we did have a slight tasting of winter. Love the sled. It’s uber cute! Not sure my daughter would appreciate sledding yet, but maybe next year.
The sled reminds me of my old magic mat. Soooo much fun!
This is so cute! I wish I had known about this earlier! We’re in Haliburton with my brother’s family right now. These would have been perfect for my 4 year old nephew, my 3 year old twin nieces and my 3 year old daughter!
oh my gosh! These are soooo cool!
This is the cutest sled I’ve ever seen! Unfortunately, here in Victoria we rarely have the weather to enjoy things like this!
