Movie: The Secret World of Arrietty {REVIEW}

On February 17th, the Disney movie The Secret World of Arrietty came to theatres. I found this movie to be a very fun movie to watch. I found myself escaping reality and using my imagination run with the movie. Children thrive on movies and books that allow them to use their imagination and this movie is definitely no exception.The Secret World of Arrietty is about friendship, illness, braveness and adventure. I believe it is best suited for a young child aged 6-7+. If your child is particularly sensitive, this might not be the movie for them, but for the average … Continue reading

Rose Reisman’s Personal Gourmet Frozen Food Delivery Service

One morning, my husband called me from work asking me if I had seen the cooler bag in the front hall. I hadn’t noticed it yet but I quickly realized exactly what it was! It was my Rose Reisman Personal Gourmet Frozen Food that had been delivered over night. I was so impressed because not only was the bag packed with a large ice pack, but it was also “locked” shut with a tag that could only be opened with scissors. This way, I would know if the bag had been tampered with, after all, it did contain some yummy … Continue reading

Walrooz Connectable Sled {REVIEW}

This winter has been the most unpredictable winter I can remember as far as weather and snow is concerned. We received a sled back in December for review and we have either been away, sick or the weather hasn’t cooperated enough for us to be able to test it out. The sled has been hanging our garage, all lonely like this: FINALLY we received a decent snowfall and we are all feeling healthy! What a miracle. I don’t know if it is because I neglected to remove the sticker prior to putting the sled in the cold garage or if … Continue reading
