Koala Kid REVIEW and {G!VEAWAY}

We enjoy family movie nights almost every Saturday night. We were all very excited to watch a new movie last Saturday together that has recently come out on DVD as of April 30th, 2013. First off, the voices by Rob Schneider, Norm MacDonald (a Canadian actor, yay!), Tim Curry and Alan Cumming were very well done. The accents of the animals were simply adorable and fun! As a parent, I always like to see movies that have a message on top of being entertaining. This movie certainly does have a positive message that is to accept the things about you … Continue reading

Making Your Own Baby Food with a Salton Masha is EASY Peasy! {REVIEW}

It has been about two months now since we started feeding solids to our LO and it’s been soooo much fun! I really like preparing most of the foods for her to eat myself as I know exactly what is going into them and she is enjoying the experience too! One of the first foods I made was sweet potato. I originally used the microwave but after doing some reading, learned that when you microwave veggies, they apparently lose some of their goodness (not sure if this is true…). I then boiled apples and sweet potato and then upon reading … Continue reading

Follow Me While I Celebrate #MonthOfMom as a #PGMom

As a #PGMom, I have had the exciting opportunity to test out many P&G products this year. Some of the products we love and have begun to use in our house on a daily basis, some we have chosen to pass on for various reasons and some we have tried and not loved. Starting May 1st, I am excited to share that I will be participating in a Photo Challenge where I share one photo each day on twitter, so be sure to follow along –>@MultiTestingMom & #MonthofMom! This is an exciting challenge for me! It allows for me to … Continue reading

Goo-Goo Baby Bibs {DISCOUNT}

Our little one has been eating solids for about a month now and as we introduce each new food, things are getting messier and messier! We started out using a regular bib but realized that this was not going to cut it! My cousin told me about goo goo baby and so I checked them out online. We have been using the Perfect Pocket Bib for several weeks now and are very impressed! I love how the bib is designed. It comes packaged flat and has two sets of snaps that are used to create the pocket. When feeding time … Continue reading

Discover the New Delicious Trio Option at @MuchoBurritoHQ {G!VEAWAY}

Mucho Burrito is the fastest growing Mexican restaurant chain in Canada! I recently visited a Mucho Burrito for the first time. I loved how you had the opportunity to create your very own, unique burrito with freshly prepared ingredients. The make to order experience was something that I really enjoyed. The restaurant was very clean and the service was so fast, efficient and friendly! When I first arrived, I asked for a few minutes just to peruse the menu and the options available to me. The staff was very understanding and helpful. My hubby and I are always keen to … Continue reading

Music Concert for Kids with @MTM_ALLSTARS {G!VEAWAY}

I shared my thoughts on the amazing Marlowe and the Mix back in January. Marlowe & the Mix aims to entertain today’s kids in a safe, concert-like forum before they’re old enough to go to a grown-up pop show. The music is targeted towards the 3-10 years of age audience. Good news to those of you who live close enough to Toronto! Marlowe and the Mix is having a concert in Toronto on April 28th! Some more exciting news about Marlowe and the Mix is that they have been nominated for the 2013 Juno Awards for the Best Children’s Album … Continue reading

Keeping Those Little Legs Warm with @BabyLegs {REVIEW}

This review has been written by Alison, a new Mom. You can read about Alison in our About section here. Earlier this winter, I was looking for ways to keep my LO warm on our walks other than stuffing her (she’s almost 19 lbs) into her snow suit every time we went outside. I had seen baby legwarmers at several baby stores and baby shows and wondered if they would really make a difference so thought I’d try them out. When I did a search online, I came across BabyLegs and loved all of the cute designs and colours! I … Continue reading

Ideas for Family Activities During @EarthHourCanada on March 23, 2013 #SheBlogs #EarthHour

WHAT IS EARTH HOUR? Earth Hour was started by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in Australia in 2007. That year, more than 2.2 million people and more than 2,000 businesses turned their lights off for one hour to take a stand against climate change. In 2008, the rest of the world – including Canada – joined Earth Hour. Earth Hour has become a global movement. The campaign encourages individuals, communities, businesses and governments to show leadership on climate change and to use Earth Hour as a platform to showcase to the world what measures they are taking to reduce their … Continue reading

Adorable Baby Clothing from @OM_home {REV!EW and G!VEAWAY}

This review has been written by Alison, a new Mom. You can read about Alison in our About section here. Our LO just had her 6 month appointment and was 18 lbs, 7oz!! She is in the 85th percentile for weight and 97th for height! Needless to say, she doesn’t typically fit into clothing that is marked for her age. The arms and legs are usually too short leaving her a little chilly. While I am always looking for stylish clothing for my LO, I try my best to be sensible and practical with my choices. I came across OM … Continue reading

Rockin’ Ever After with @DisneyonIce in #Toronto March 13-17, 2013

Yesterday, we went to see Rockin’ Ever After, Disney on Ice and boy, did we ever have a blast! I have to say that while I have loved every single Disney on Ice Show that I have been to (and as a Feld Ambassador, I have been fortunate enough to attend a few!), this show is by far my favourite! I loved to see a new princess in the mix, Merida from Brave. The costumes were very impressive as were the props. There seemed to be a lot more detail put into this show and it definitely paid off, in … Continue reading
