Earlier this winter, I was looking for ways to keep my LO warm on our walks other than stuffing her (she’s almost 19 lbs) into her snow suit every time we went outside.
I had seen baby legwarmers at several baby stores and baby shows and wondered if they would really make a difference so thought I’d try them out. When I did a search online, I came across BabyLegs and loved all of the cute designs and colours!
I started using the newborn leg warmers underneath my LO’s pants and over her socks before putting her winter coat and accessories on in order to keep her little legs warm. Then I realized that it was easier to put them on top of her pants, over her socks and slippers – this way I didn’t have to take everything off and put it back on before heading out the door. The legwarmers definitely kept the heat in and also helped to keep her socks and slippers on.
As my LO is quite chubby, the tops and bottoms of the leg warmers and socks are a little snug and so I would recommend if you have a ‘big’ baby that you might want to order the girls or boys size to see if that works better. We did have the opportunity to try socks in the 2T-4T size and while they are a little large in the foot bed, they are perfect for her little legs and do not leave marks which I like.
If you’re not a fan of legwarmers, BabyLegs do carry knee high socks too!

They are great for spring and fall too when the weather can change so quickly. I always have a few pairs in the stroller and in the diaper bag. i have 3 little ones and 6 pairs of babylegs take up way less space than 3 sweaters. My kids wear them on their arms and legs 🙂
These are so so so adorable!! I don’t need them, but they’d make a perfect gift!
