Last Friday, I had the privilege of attending WeDay, an annual event organized by the Canadian charity Free The Children. There were 20000 students at the Air Canada Centre who were empowered, inspired to be the best that they can be, entertained and encouraged to help others in this world who are less fortunate! WeDay was honestly the most inspirational event I have ever attended. I walked away feeling inspired, proud of the students and in awe of the sheer magnitude of energy that these students possessed. Until October 14th, African Lion Safari opens its doors to visitors daily from 10:00-4:00. My family and I visited African Lion Safari at the end of August. I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect seeing as I hadn’t been there since I was two. My Mom shared stories of our visit and all I really remember was the story about her nursing my sister in the back seat of our car as we drove through the reserve and a giraffe LION came right up to the car!
