French Toast with @Dempsters ZERO Bread {#Giveaway}

Two ingredients that I often try hard to cut back on are sugar and fat. When I first heard of Dempster’s ZERO bread with no added fat or sugar, I honestly thought it was too good to be true, but after reading the label and tasting the bread, I now know that what you see is what you get and it tastes GREAT too! On the weekend, I picked up a loaf of Dempster’s ZERO bread and made my children a fun Olympic and early Valentine’s themed lunch. Children absolutely love it when food is presented to them in a … Continue reading

Go Canada Go!

In our house, the typical morning and after school routine has been changed for the duration of the Olympics. Usually, in the mornings, the kids do not watch any tv. If they are ready for school early, they play. This is often their best time together, providing they are both in good moods! Yesterday morning was different, however, my daughter requested to put on the Olympics after breakfast. She was SO excited to see if she had missed anything the day before as she had lost her tv privileges. I made the decision that throughout the Olympics, provided they were … Continue reading

Teaching Nutrition to my Daughter #WorldWithoutDieting #Giveaway

When I was in elementary school, I would say that I was considered to be an average to slightly above average weight for my height, but I always felt bigger. I wasn’t thin, I wasn’t large, I was just….me and somewhere in between. When I entered high school, my social life went from being practically nothing to an overwhelming high. That combined with hormones and changes in my life led me to become even more self conscious about my weight. I remember peer pressure playing a huge role and I also remember feeling an internal pressure to be thin. This … Continue reading
