Holiday Décor with Ferrero Rocher

I love decorating for the holidays. Come mid-November, if I haven’t begun the decoration people start questioning me…”Is there something wrong??” See, I have always enjoyed the pure joy that the holiday season brings, and decorating is just the beginning of the holiday cheer. For me, those seasonal decorations include just a few basic colors. White (lights), red (ribbons) and gold (accents) for glimmer. Traditional mixed with a little bit of hip is my Christmas style. When it comes to our traditional treats, Ferrero Rocher has a permanent spot on our shopping list. We always keep them in stock over … Continue reading

Do you own a cell phone? Do you have your life on it like I do? Photos, videos, contacts, a calendar, you name it, it is on my phone SO it is EXTREMELY important that I protect my phone as much as possible. Toe Gifts ~ a Family Tradition

This is the time of year when many traditions and memories are made. One of my most favourite traditions in our family is the opening of our stockings. We used to open them on Christmas morning, but I we found that stockings take a LONG time to open and our kids just didn’t have the attention span, so we decided to move it to Christmas Eve. My husband started a new tradition a few years ago of putting a “toe gift in the bottom of each of our stockings. A toe gift goes in at the bottom of the stocking … Continue reading

Getting Organized with @BrotherCanada {#GIVEAWAY}

It never fails that at this time of the year, I start realizing how much stuff we have, and how many toys my boys have. It always seems like no matter how much I get rid of it always seems messy. I do my best to organize ahead of time so that when we get all the new gifts from family and friends we have a “home” for each item. Hubby is a very organized person, and I have places for my things. I have been working hard with our older 2 boys. But the youngest was doing really well … Continue reading

A Gift for My Son from @MySiblingDolls

Meet Tommy, a doll for boys! I have to give you some background on how I came across Tommy! When my son was 2.5 years old, he regularly played with his baby doll. He carried it around the house, playing Daddy and he often brought his baby with us grocery shopping and out on various adventures. One day, we were leaving the doctor’s office and he was carrying his baby by its hand and someone yelled out in passing, “Why isn’t your son carrying a REAL toy for boys like a truck or something?” I didn’t process what they had … Continue reading
