I Have Happy Feet with my Gowalk Shoes from @Skechers_Canada {GIVEAWAY}

I received a pair of Skechers GOwalk shoes at the beginning of the summer and I have to say, they are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes that I own! Skechers GOwalk shoes are comfortable, LIGHT and stylish! I have climbed up a 400 ft rock (ok following a path and stairs, NOT up the face of the rock, but still…) in these shoes, I have walked to the school bus and I have shopped. They are a great pair of shoes for any purpose. I have VERY picky feet. You will never find me in a pair … Continue reading

According to the manufacturer, “Cellulite MD is a powerful natural cellulite … Continue reading

Make Sure You #DontSweatIt This Summer – Use Lady Speed Stick Instead {G!VEAWAY}

I might end up sharing a bit too much information with you in this post about Lady Speed Stick! I sweat! I sweat A LOT. I remember back in high school how embarrassed I used to be by my “wet pits”. I was always testing out new antiperspirant options, trying to find one that worked for me. One thing that I have learned about my body is that I need to “change it up” every once in a while as my body seems to get used to deodorant/antiperspirant. The opportunity to test out Lady Speed Stick couldn’t have come at … Continue reading

We Women Need to Talk With One Another More Openly!

I’m not sure why, but growing up, I wasn’t comfortable talking about my body with others. Not my Mom, not my sister and definitely not my friends. I was shy and embarassed. As soon as I became a Mom to a daughter, I definitely knew that I wanted to help her feel much more comfortable about her body than I ever was or have been! At first, I had absolutely no idea how I would accomplish this, but slowly the answer became clear and VERY simple! It’s all about communication! Us girls, we like to talk! So, what I did … Continue reading

Elderly Woman by Peter Griffin The number is large and continues to grow: according to Statistics Canada, approximately 2.7 million Canadians provide unpaid care for people 65 or older. Today more than ever, many Canadians are caring for both elderly parents and their own children. Known as the “sandwich generation,” people in this situation can find it difficult to manage the often-conflicting demands of raising children and caring for aging parents or other relatives. Fortunately, there may be a little relief this tax season. Starting on the 2012 tax return, the Family Caregiver Amount will provide an additional amount up … Continue reading

@Diamonius Simulated Diamond Jewelry {REVIEW}

I received a couple of simulated diamond rings from Diamonius.com and they are quite possibly some of the most beautiful rings I have ever seen! I received the Adrianna Ring and the Monca Ring. Check out my favourite one here: These rings look real! They are absolutely gorgeous and flashy! The only difference that I can tell is that they feel much lighter than a traditional gold and diamond ring, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Diamonius is “dedicated to creating high quality beautifully designed diamond alternative jewelry without the high social and environmental price tags associated with mined diamonds.” … Continue reading
