I didn’t know, until an email landed in my inbox that September was Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
In fact, here is an infographic with some very sad statistics about childhood cancer…and a way that you can help!
Why am I sharing this with you?
A few years ago, a high school aquaintence of mine lost his daughter to cancer. His daughter was young, innocent and precious and he lost her. I followed his story as he shared it online and my heart ached every day for him and his family!
I’m sure that most of us unfortunately will know a child who is (or has) battling cancer and to know that there is something that we can do to help is important!
You can visit childhoodcancer.ca and learn how you can donate, fundraise or read some information on childhood cancer.
Don’t wait to get involved!

I didn’t know that it was Childhood Cancer Awareness month in September either. Such a great thing to help out families going through such a rough time.
This is such a sad issue.
