Have you ever been inspired by someone who has made the choice to live out loud? What do I mean by that? Let me give the example of the inspirational women who together wrote the new book Live Out Loud!
Last week, I had the honour of attending the book launch for Live Out Loud the Sisterhood Folios. The energy in the room at the Spoke Club in King West Village, downtown Toronto was contagious. It would have been nearly impossible to have left that event without feeling inspired by the talented group of inspirational women who co-authored this book!
Live Out Loud the Sisterhood Folios, written by a group of inspirational women, is a must read this summer!
If you’re a reader, you’ll love this book. And if you’re not a reader, you’ll also love this book. Why? First of all, the stories are real life, wonderful stories. And secondly, the chapters are short and easy to read. Once you read one chapter, you are definitely motivated to read more. Nineteen women share part of their journey in life in this book. These nineteen women are brave, courageous and incredible, in my opinion.
The first chapter that I read was written by Samantha King, the founder of Fempire Builders, a place for women entrepreneurs to feel supported and to grow together. I will admit that while I do know Samantha personally, her story spoke so clearly to me; the struggles and journey of a new Mom trying to find her path in the world. I’m sure many of us can relate on similar levels.
The second chapter that I read (love that I can read them out of order!) was written by Carol Starr Taylor. She shares her experience living life feeling disconnected from her Mom. I won’t spoil the ending, but let’s just say that I was in tears, and not for the reason you might think.
After having met many of the authors in this story and knowing that they come from unique backgrounds, I learned something. All women are different, we all live unique lives, but the one thing we have in common, other than being women, is that we all have a story to share.
The inspirational women in this book have lessons learned, stories to share, and inspirational words for every woman to hear.
Have you ever written in a journal or felt inspired to write your own story? From speaking to some women who have done this, the therapy alone that they experienced from this opportunity made it worth while. In addition, the fact that these inspirational women had the opportunity to share a part of their story, which in turn will help hundreds, and hopefully thousands of other women in so many ways.
When we feel brave and we share part of our story with others, we feel empowered. Feeling empowered, often gives us courage and when we have courage, we can take on the world!
Together, we are all inspirational women and we stand strong!
I encourage you to experience this book. View other lives through the windows of literature and experience the feelings together with these authors. Furthermore, you probably have some feelings of your own that will surface. As a result, your road to feeling empowered and courageous just might begin with this book!
Purchase this ebook now and take it with you this summer to the beach, the cottage, or simply your backyard. I can almost guarantee that you will be left with a “feel good” feeling every time you take time for you and read a chapter.
My journey to being me, the true me started in 2015. I wrote about my journey in hopes to encourage and inspire other women to truly listen to their inner self and to be true to themselves. I have felt a true connection with many of the inspirational women in Live Out Loud as I read through this book. Here’s to wishing you a similar connection.
