Now I Know that @MilkUnleashed Shelf Safe Milk is a Great Way to Buy Milk for My Family! #milkunleashed

Have you heard of shelf safe milk? Up until last week, I had definitely heard of it. I had seen it too, but I stayed away from it. FAR, far away from it, until….. I watched this super informative video: And then, I felt much better about purchasing this shelf safe milk as a perfectly safe and nutritious alternative to traditional cartons or bags of milk sold in the refrigerator section at the grocery store. Knowing that there are no additional preservatives or additives makes me feel better that I am feeding my family 100% milk. The milk is simply … Continue reading

A Fun Filled Day at @Centreville4Fun with the Family #centreville4fun

I have a few memories from when I was a child in grade two and my field trip to Centre Island in Toronto. In my opinion, every child who lives in the GTA should have the opportunity to visit the Island! It’s almost like a right of passage. The excitement of taking a Ferry across to the island to the beach, the splash pad, the fun paths and even Franklin’s Children’s Garden to the highlight of Centreville! My family and I just got back from a “staycation” in Toronto. The highlight of our trip was definitely our visit to Centreville … Continue reading

A Family Staycation at the @GrandToronto

Earlier this week, my family and I headed to the Grand Hotel & Suites in Toronto for a mini “staycation”. We visited Centreville (more on that in another post), went to the Eaton Centre and enjoyed some down time in the hotel pool. I can tell you how beautiful this hotel was, but we all know that pictures speak louder than words, so here we go…. Our double room suite was extremely spacious and clean! We were also spoiled with two washrooms, and while the beds were much softer than we are used to, the duvets were luxurious. We were … Continue reading

Is that Rash Eczema?

I should have known. My baby had rashes at two weeks old, and I didn’t think it was eczema, even though my spouse had mild localized eczema. Why didn’t I suspect it was eczema? I was faithfully reading a piece of paper from the hospital that listed rashes as one of the items I SHOULD NOT be worried about. So being a mom of a baby with eczema, and having helped families with eczema children worldwide through my blog EczemaBlues.com, I think helping families recognize eczema is an important step to controlling eczema, and treating it. Which Rash is Not EczemaThe … Continue reading
