Are you rushed getting out the kids out the door in the morning? And, as a result, are you constantly on the lookout for a breakfast idea that you can make ahead that is healthy, tasty and filling? These healthy breakfast cookies are definitely worth a try. Because they only have a few ingredients, they are prepared in minutes and store nicely for a few days. You can also add a variety of optional ingredients in order to customize these healthy breakfast cookies for you and your family.
Kids enjoy eating these Healthy Breakfast Cookies!
Our family eats them for breakfast, snacks and as a healthy treat at the end of a meal.

- 2 medium bananas, mashed
- 1 cup applesauce, unsweetened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cup oats
- 1 scoop Orange Naturals ND Shake (optional)
- 3 Tbsp chia seeds (optional)
- 1/3 cup – raisins (optional)
- 1/4 cup – nuts, chopped (optional)
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- Mash bananas.
- Mix together all ingredients.
- Scoop cookies onto cookie sheet (they can be any size you like).
- Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until they start to lightly brown.
- Enjoy!
Note: The added scoop of ND Shake Kids gives the cookies additional protein and vitamins. There is a chance that by heating the shake mix, it might reduce the nutritional value of the vitamins, however the additional protein is always an excellent addition, in my opinion.
Kids LOVE to get involved in baking and cooking.
This recipe has many opportunities to get the kids involved. Because I often find that when I include the kids in a making a new recipe, they are more motivated to give it a try, I get them to help often. Most of all, I get their “buy in” more easily and as a result, everyone is happy.

I much prefer your recipe for the sugar cookies I must say, lol. Luckily my kids are all adults so there’s no rush getting them out of the house these days, now it’s them trying to get their kids ready and out the door.
