One of my 2016 goals is to start my day with a mug full of warm water and lemon. This is a hard change for me to make because while I drink quite a bit of water, the only other drink that I typically drink is coffee. In fact, other than coffee (which I admit, I do drink quite a bit of) and the occasional tea, water is my drink of choice. Sometimes, however, it is nice to enjoy a sweeter treat, but so many of the beverage options out there are not good for you. This is why I’m excited to have discovered MagPop, a healthy drink that contains magnesium, vitamin C and electrolytes without any added sugar, artificial colours or flavours AND it is a drink for people of all ages.
MagPop reminds me of an orange flavoured drink crystal that I used to drink as a child. Of course, MagPop is a much healthier version, both for your body and in taste. However, while it is healthy, it also is a welcomed change to plain water.
Health Benefits:
- Great for maintaining health & metabolism
- Bone building
- Muscle function
- Protein synthesis
- Cellular metabolism
- Used in your body in over 350 different ways

This past weekend, I had a terrible migraine. I decided to try some MagPop as I have heard that magnesium is good for migraines. Within 5 minutes (on two separate occasions), of consuming MagPop, my migraine had eased to the point where it was manageable.

Try to get more active in 2016
My New Year’s Resolution is to eat more heart healthy and finish building my new wheelchair.
I purchased a new bike for the spring…..definitely need to be more active!
My resolution is to stick with my daily workouts
I don’t have goals or resolutions, but I have a few “action” words to help me keep focused and so far it worked!
My 2016 goals/resolutions is to give back more my TIPS for sticking to them is too look around
I am wanting to get myself outdoor more in winter
To continue eating healthy. Stick to it by not buying junk food.
Remove the temptation – great policy!
When we decided to start, we went through all our cupboards and disposed of any bad food. I find it much easier to not have the temptation around.
This year I’m trying to cut down on my sugar intake and I’m trying to spend more time outdoors getting exercise and fresh air.
That is great! It is a good winter to get outdoors for fresh air – not too cold!
My resolution is to eat healthier..healthier snacks and meals
What is more challenging for you? Healthier snacks or meals?
Snacks because my favourite snack has always been potato chips, I have recently been able to eat certain fruits..one is blueberries..I’ve been eating them almost daily in my salad and I have found them to be amazing when they are frozen..so good..lol
My resolution is to get more exercise. My TIP is to focus on small, doable things rather than a huge goal that is so overwhelming that I give up.
Baby steps! Always a great way to think – think small, more manageable steps.
My goal is to drink more water. My tip is to carry a refillable water bottle with you so you’re reminded to drink the water, and can refill when done.

Great tip! I want to drink more water too.
My goal is to drink more water, I as well use a reusable water bottle and always have it with me when I step out. I let go of pop for a long time but over the holidays got back into it so now I am trying to cut it again and drink more water instead. I am like u, big coffee drinker. Another thing I need to work on. I find doing one step (cutting back or out) seems to work better then trying to change everything at once 😉
