If you you have young children who enjoy stories, you should check out the website,
Story Time For

They have 30 free online books available, with more being added regularly. You simply choose a series (Ben the Mouse, Fern the Fox or Flame the Dragon), then choose a story and then press play and away you go.

Each story has a picture of the book and a small info segment beside it that includes the following information:
The name of the story
A small amount of info about the story
What age range the story is appropriate for
The episode #
The category e.g Friendship
The running time

When you play the story, you have options to change the volume, pause it, change pages, highlight the text being read, go to a full screen view, choose animation or non-animation mode and select auto page flip or manual page flip.

My 5 year old LOVED sitting at the computer while I tidied up from lunch to watch and listen to a story. She begged me to watch another one when the first one was done!

I really like the highlight text feature and the auto/manual page flip options! As a former Kindergarten teacher, those are two features that I find are really important as children grow and become more confident learners!

If you “Like” Story Time for Me’s Facebook page, you are automatically entered into their monthly draw to win a personalized children’s book. Go there now, their personlized books look pretty neat.
