Cell Phone Gadgets

Yesterday, I gave a talk about the importance of branding yourself when you’re a woman in business. We talked about having courage and confidence in putting yourself “out there”, the importance of lowering the wall and allowing people the opportunity to get to know, like and trust you as well as some tips for making great videos! I admit that I was a bit surprised to see how many people in the audience loved cell phone gadgets as much as I do!

It is not surprising that video has become
a huge part of social media.

Video is eye catching and often gives us a window into the REAL people behind a profile or a brand. When you are a solopreneur, giving people the opportunity to see the person behind the brand is crucial in your brand development. Sharing photos and videos of behind the scenes in your business and even your day to day experiences as a business owner helps people get to know you, which leads to hopefully liking you and subsequently forming trust.

The following cell phone gadgets have helped me to be prepared for creating photos and videos with my cell phone.

This is my favourite new gadget! It is a tripod and selfie stick in one AND it has a removable blue tooth remote too. This lightweight, compact system is a “must have” tool to add to your toolbox when you are a woman in business.

If your business is one that has you doing demos in a variety of locations or in unique situations, this cell phone holder is one to consider. It is more robust that it seems and can be maneuvered in a variety of ways to catch any desired angle.

This mini clip on, wireless ring light allows you to have lighting when there is no natural light available.  Where was this light when I was doing a live video at night a few weeks ago? I have it now!

These amazing little cell phone gadgets provide you with external storage on your cell phone for when you are taking a lot of video or photos and feel like you might run out of room. They are extremely simple to use – simply download an app, plug into your phone and take videos and photos to your heart’s desire.
