In the past few years, there has been a growing trend to live life as paperless as possible. This trend is becoming easier to do thanks to the large number of companies providing us with options. Ebills as well as digital trends including Apps, Google Drive for sharing documents and many more have made this trend easy to join.
Toronto Hydro customers are being encouraged to switch over to paperless Ebills. This not only helps to save tress, in addition, it also allows you to cut down on the paper clutter in your home. It’s a win-win situation for all!
When you switch over to paperless bills, advantages include:
- First of all, the obvious: reducing the use of paper. Who wants piles of bills lying around, after all?
- Reducing clutter in your home. If have you been following along with the Clutter to Clean in 2017 Challenge on Facebook, you will understand and appreciate how important it is that we refrain from bringing MORE clutter into our homes through paper bills, especially when there are other options.
- Saving you time. It takes time to open bills and file them! Our lives are busy enough, who needs that job? In my house, those papers would only pile up, creating MORE CLUTTER!
- Saving you space. If space is an issue in your home, reducing the amount of paper bills and files will give you more space. As a result, you will also create a more clutter free environment.
I encourage you to take the time to go through the list of companies who send you regular bills and ensure that you have signed up for any paperless options that they offer.
If you are a customer of Toronto Hydro, each person who signs up for paperless Ebills will receive free dish washing products from Cascade and Dawn, an entry to win a new ENERGY STAR dishwasher, plus 100 bonus points on Toronto Hydro’s PowerLens portal.
