If you are here solely for the Canadian Cash Giveaway, my hope is that you will take a quick minute to read this first…
I am taking this time of year to reflect upon 2016 in both my personal and business life. For the past few weeks, I have relected on what I have achieved, what I would like to achieve in 2017 and most importantly, I am feeling GRATITUDE for so much in my life.
I could dedicate an entire blog post to share about my 2016 and perhaps I will another time, but today I would like to talk about Multi-Testing Mommy.
My focus is on YOU, my dear readers! YOU are why I have this blog. The purpose of this blog, right from the start, was to be a place for Canadian Moms to seek out information.
Perhaps you are struggling as a parent.
Maybe you have trouble coming up with new homemade food for your family.
Is a birthday quickly approaching and you aren’t sure of a gift idea?
OR are you looking for more ideas to entertain your children?
Let’s work together and make 2017 an amazing year!
Do you want to be a part of that?
Please check in often both here on the blog as well as on social media (links in the top right) and share your experiences, tips and ideas as well.
We are a community of Moms helping
one another be the best that we can be.
Are you looking for specific ideas, tips, recipes etc.? Please feel free to reach out any time – I’m here to help!
I am truly grateful for each and every one of you. As a thank you for being a part of the Multi-Testing Mommy community, I would like to offer you the opportunity to enter an amazing CANADIAN CASH GIVEAWAY! Together with some other amazing Canadian bloggers, I am giving away $550 CAD (to be paid via Paypal to one Canadian winner). My wish is that whoever wins this prize will be able to make their life a bit easier; whether it be to pay for groceries, kid activities, a family vacation or even take themselves on a shopping spree as a treat!
And now it’s time to enter the Canadian Cash Giveaway….
good luck to all!

This giveaway is open to Canadian residents only and ends on January 31, 2017 11:59pm EST
This money would go into our Travel Account. We are saving for an awesome trip.
How exciting!! Where do you plan on going? OR what places are on your list?
It’s scary to even mention it…but we are thinking of New Zealand for a month next winter. Yikes. Never traveled before.
Never traveled or never flown or both Inez? The first step to setting a goal is to say it – there you go – you can give the first checkmark on your list! xo I hear New Zealand is beautiful!
I would use the money to pay bills.
Wishing you luck, Sandra!
I would put the money towards some kitchen renos!
What does your dream kitchen have in it, Jenn?
My hubby and I are seasonal workers. I am involved in hospitality and he is a hardscaper. Vancouver Island has been unusually cold which has affected our incomes. We would use the money to rebuild our savings. Happy New Years and thanks for the chance.
Oh Christina – I LOVE Vancouver Island – one of my favourite places – so beautiful! Good luck.
Bloody cold here this winter though. I live in Qualicum Beach and winter here generally means lots of rain…not snow…ugggg!
Lots of rain must be hard! Ugh is right 🙂
I would use the money to help my children out
Very kind of you, Helen! How old are your children?
I would use the money to get my grandkids birthday & Christmas presents.
How old are your grandkids, Linda?
6,4,2, and 4 months
I’d pay bills…this time of year is slow at work, we’ve had quite a few fridays off where no ones worked at all, so I’m forced to stretch a paycheque even longer then usual.
Well we just replaced our furnace last week since it decided to break. So I would use the money towards unfun things like groceries so I can rebuild the saving account.
You’re not the first person whose furnace recently broke 🙁 I’m sorry!
I would put towards bills.
Definitely be put towards bills.. With only 1 income the bills are adding up & this mama is desperately trying to find work to help me amazing hubby out.
Being on one income is challenging! We had to make several cuts and had a budget to follow. How many kiddos do you have, Crystal?
We have 3 boys. ☺ One has recently moved out with his girlfriend, so 2 at home & the inlaws moved in with us 2 years ago. They had a hard time managing on there own so we opened our doors to them.
I could use $550 to help pay down my credit card and give my daughter a fun 3rd birthday in February. She wants to have a ghost party! Lol. Spooky fun! ??
I can’t wait to hear more about her ghost party, Courtney!
I would pay bills.
Great plan, Cheryl.
I would use the prize money to pay bills and to make my daughter’s upcoming birthday party extra special! Thank you so much for the chance! 🙂
FUN! How old is your daughter turning?
Bills, bills and more bills! And if a lil left maybe a pedicure lol
A pedicure is such a great!!
I would pay bills…our fridge died before christmas abd we crashed our van on boxing day! thanks for the chance 🙂
Oh no, Jocelyne – I’m so sorry to hear this!!! I hope everyone is ok.
bills or trip.. mostly bills so I can save for a trip
Where would you like to travel?
Some clothes for the kids and then some baby stuff for my sister in law and brother
I LOVE buying baby stuff!! Do you have a niece, a nephew or are they expecting, Amie?
I have 4 nephews and 1 niece, plus my sister in law is expecting in the next 6-8 weeks another nephew eeek! I have 4 kids and they can not wait for another baby (from me) but will settle for a cousin for now lol
I would buy new dinning room chairs that are not about to break if someone sits on one!
Great plan, Melissa! What kind of chairs do you have your eyes on?
I would pay off part of my wedding hall rental fees.
Are you planning a wedding or did you recently get married, Angie?
I would save got something fun to do as a family once baby is a little older
Nice! How old is your baby?
3.5 months but time is flying!
Since your asking me to spend it on the house …..I would spend it on a maid and organizational stuff!
LOL I just asked that question on Facebook! Of course, I’d love to know any way that you would like to spend the money. Thanks for entering, Misty!
I would put it towards a new mattress.. instead of paying the Chiropractor all the time lol
Yes, a new mattress is definitely a worth while investment! What size bed do you have, Leigh-Ann?
A queen! Perfect size for us! 🙂
I need a double stroller!
How old are your kids, Jocelyn? I assume this is for your family??
I would start to redecorate my Bed Room – it is one of the rooms in the house that has suffered from neglect and I need a place that will act as my serene retreat after a busy day!
A serene place to go to after a long day at work sounds like a great idea!
It would go into the bank…. it needs a shot in the arm….
I would use it to pay down some bills with christmas done and not working right now bills start to pile up 🙂 thanks for the chance
Those crazy bills, right?! Good luck, Crystal.
Christmas debt
YES! What was your most favourite gift you gave this Christmas, Emma?
I would use it for clothes for my kids or other things that my family needs.
I would use it for dance fees!
Oh yes!!! Those dance fees can add up, can’t they?!
