Did you know that March is
Fraud Prevention Month?
I try to be very careful with my personal documents and typically err on the side of caution when it comes to destroying any papers with personal information for fear of identity theft. Like Fellowes suggests in the Top 10 Ways to Prevent Identity Theft above, we used to shred every single piece of paper with any trace to us in our home, until one day, I put too many papers at once through my inexpensive paper shredder and it broke. After that, I have had to ask my hubby to take our papers to work to shred in their industrial shredder, which he wasn’t too thrilled about!
I’m very excited to be testing out a Fellowes Powershred 63Cb and will be sharing my thoughts on it soon! My plan is to shred papers as they need to be shredded in order to not pile up too much paper clutter in the house (something that I am already working on!). I truly believe that a top quality shredder will make the job so much more pleasant as there is something oddly satisfying for me about shredding papers, yes, I can be an odd one!
In recognition of Fraud Prevention Month,
Fellowes Canada will be hosting a Fellowes Twitter Party this coming Monday night.
I hope you will join me for the party!
If you aren’t sure how to participate in a Twitter Party, feel free to read my Twitter Party Guide before Monday night to get yourself more acquainted.
