Get in the Kitchen and COOK! by Emily Richards {Cook Book REVIEWS}

Emily Richard has a Bachelor of Science, Home Economics specializing in Food and Nutrition from the University of Western Ontario and over 15 years experience in the food world. She has written her own CookBook called Get in the Kitchen and COOK!. This simple Cookbook has a variety of recipes including Appetizers, Soups, Salads and Dressings, Pasta and Pizza, Chicken and Fish, Beef and Veal, Pork and Shellfish, Sandwiches and Sides, Eggs and Vegetarian and Cookies and Desserts.

The recipes are very easy to read, in a good sized font with detailed instructions on the side. Some of the recipes feature a photo, which is something that I really like.

Admittedly, being a Mom of two young children, one of whom is rather picky, there weren’t many recipes that my family would enjoy in this cookbook. However, if you have an experienced palate and enjoy a large variety of foods, I have no doubt that you will enjoy trying out some of Richard’s recipes.

There were a few recipes in this book that my family would enjoy and I am glad to have discovered them.

    October 10-‘Get Out in the Kitchen and Cook! sounds interesting. I love reading cookbooks and I have at least twenty or thirty or more on my shelves here at home. I find that you may find some really practical and delicious recipes in almost any cookbook. I will look for it in my library as my bookshelves are overflowing and we are trying to downsize! el03ro
