I’ve recently been introduced to a brand called Seventh Generation, a brand that truly cares about the environment.

Ever since my first child was born, I have become more and more aware of the impact that we have on our environment. I have also made attempts to be conscious of the types of products that I use on and around my children as many products contain harsh chemicals that over time can have a negative impact on their health.
Not only have I changed the products that I use (for the most part), but I also have tried to make environmentally friendly decisions when I can like using reusable grocery bags, cutting down on electricity, using less water and more. It is important to me that our earth is healthy for our children in order for them to live a happy and safe life! It is also important to me that our children aren’t exposed to too many (if any) harsh and toxic chemicals that could put them at risk for not being healthy.
One line of products that I believe can help us be more environmentally friendly are the Seventh Generation line. I have tried out Seventh Generation Free & Clear Diapers, Free & Clear Baby Wipes, Natural 2X Concentrated Laundry Detergent and Natural Dish Liquid. Truth be told, I was very impressed with every single product that I tried out!

I love how these diapers are free of cholorine, fragrances, latex and petroleum-based lotions. This means that they truly are made for a baby’s sensitive skin. Our babies sit in their diapers 24/7 so we want what is best for their bodies and their skin. I will admit that I was curious as to whether or not these diapers would withstand the true test – over night usage without leaking through! I am happy to say that they did pass the test with flying colours. They are easy to put on, stay in place and absorb A LOT!

These wipes are made with plant-derived ingredients; no alcohol, synthetic cleaners, dyes or fragrances. They are whitened without chemicals containing chlorine. I was impressed with how soft the Free & Clear Baby Wipes were. I will admit, however, that they had a slightly different smell to them, but this is due to the fact that they are unscented. It’s not a strong smell and it doesn’t linger on your skin.

I’m a true believer in washing my family’s clothing in natural detergents! We live in our clothing all day long and I also don’t want to put terrible chemicals down the drain and into our water system. I love the light scent of this product. It cleaned our whites load just perfectly – even removing a few unwanted stains!

The Natural Dish Liquid is made from Plant-derived cleaners and it truly does effectively cut grease – I put it to the test! This dish liquid is non-toxic and is free of dyes and synthetic fragrances. I enjoyed the light scent of this liquid while I cleaned the dishes.
