If you have two minutes, please watch this video today! Today is World Water Day.

International World Water Day is held annually on March 22 as a means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources.
In order to save more water, my family and I are going to try our hardest to produce less food waste this year. What can you do? Please share in the comments.

Thanks for sharing this. I plan to produce less food waste and break my habit of running water while brushing my teeth.
Great video… I have been trying to decrease my footprint on the earth this year.
We have been not rinsing our dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, and using the smart wash mode as it is more water conscious.
and here’s another good reason why my kids shouldn’t waste their food or the water!
So many people don’t realize what their water footprint is!
Fab video, my girls are very interested in this…I’ll be sharing it tonight
I’ve always been conscious of how much water we use, try to teach the kids about not wasting water.
Thank you for posting! We have been working over the last two years to shrink our carbon footprint and reduce waste such as water. If only a larger percentage would do the same!
thanks for posting this! we try to be very cautious with what we use 🙂
thanks for posting this. I have been bathing my boys together recently, and only doing it 1x week (with spot cleans in between)
Oh wow, thanks for sharing this! I had no idea today was World Water Day. We’ve been cutting back on wasting as much food and running water throughout the day.
Loved this!
I too have been trying my best to decrease my foot print and turn the taps off when brushing my teeth and such.
I also use the Santivia water system so I am sure that helps not wasting water as well.
thanks for sharing! I didn’t even realize it was world water day!!
I learn something new every time I come to your blog! Thanks for sharing this info!
As Canadian, we are really lucky to have easy access to clean drinking water. I will do my part by conserving water wherever and whenever I can.
My favorite Muppet will always be Gonzo! 🙂
We are going to try and remember to stop the water running while we are brushing our teeth and because we hand wash our dishes we are going to try and do the same with that.
We all should make “waste” a dirty word!

One of the things that we have been more conscious of is how we use our water. There are 6 of us so we take fast showers, we don’t let the water run for dishes or when we brush our teeth. This summer I am making a veggie garden and I will be buying a few rain barrels to water the garden with instead of using the hose. All the little things make a huge difference and they are also good habits to teach out kids.
