Info: Snack Pack Canada Raises Money for Food Bank Canada

Did you know that smiles are contagious?

In my house, they are seriously contagious and one of the many things that I absolutely adore about being home with my kids is that they make me smile just about all day long! They make me smile when they say cute things. They make me smile when they accomplish new things and they make me smile when they hug me.

Sometimes I will buy a coffee for the person behind me line at Tim Horton’s or I write little notes in my daughter’s lunch bag. Those are the things that make someone smile. The “just because” things that we do every day.

What else makes me smile? Helping people! So when I learned that I had the opportunity to help spread the word about a new “Share a Smile Campaign” that donates money to Food Bank Canada, I was very happy to help out.

People go hungry all year long, but the holidays is one time of year when Food Banks work really hard to help out those in need.

If you’d like to play a part in helping Food Banks Canada in raising their goal of $20 000 in time for the holidays, simply log onto their Facebook page for all the details but here’s the gist of the program: Each and every time you share a smile with a friend, Snack Pack will donate $1 to Food Banks Canada. If that wasn’t enough, you are also entered to win a great weekly prize (if you’ve registered for the contest). Now that is something we can all smile about.

Every day for the next 10 weeks you’ll see a new idea for different ways to enjoy a smile with a Snack Pack. Make a little promise to yourself to indulge in a little afternoon fun and accept the challenge. Knowing that you’re helping to feed the hungry should bring a little extra smile to your day!
