Up until now, we used to have to drop off our used batteries at a hazardous waste facility. We had to wait for specific days and specific hours. This meant that for our family, our batteries piled up and piled up and about once a year, I made the trek over to the facility to make a huge drop off.
Well, this is no longer the case!
Ontario Residents can now visit Make The Drop to find many locations that are now accepting used batteries including participating stores such as Home Depot, Best Buy and Future Shop to name just a few!
Taking care of our earth is finally getting easier! It’s about time. Us humans can be lazy creatures and many of us need this type of thing to be easy otherwise, unfortunately things such as batteries end up in landfills, hurting our environment in ways that can’t even begin to imagine!
