popchips™ are an amazing creation! They are potatoes that are not fried or baked – they are popped (using some heat and a little pressure) – seasoned and voila, they are the perfect healthy snack for the whole family to enjoy – guilt free!

I LOVE the popchips™ pledge: Our all-natural pledge: no fake colors, no fake flavors, no preservatives, no fluorescent orange fingertips, and no wiping your greasy chip hand on your jeans. Now, that is classic! I love how they have no artificial colouring or artificial flavours. Those are two key points that I like to see in a snack food!
They also come in a huge variety of flavours so there is bound to be something that suites everyone’s taste: original potato, barbeque potato, sour cream & onion potato, cheddar potato, sea salt & vinegar potato, salt & pepper potato, parmesan garlic potato and jalapeño potato.
My six year old adored the cheddar potato flavour – she has asked me to buy more every time we pass them in the store! I’m so happy to have found a healthy snack food that she considers to be a treat!
My two and half year old – well….he’s just that! Two-and-a-half! That is all I need to say about that isn’t it? One minute he loves something, it is his favourite food in the whole universe and the next minute he is spitting it out across the table. Most times, he just won’t even try out something new. I will say that he didn’t spit out the popchips™ so that is a start in the right direction!
My personal favourite were the salt and pepper flavoured chips. They had just the right amount of pepper kick to them and were lightly salted.
Are these potato chips? No, they most certainly aren’t, but they are a snack food and I believe they are definitely a healthy alternative to regular potato chips. I wouldn’t mind serving these on a regular basis to my family where as regular chips rarely come into our house at all!

We got a chance to review popchips too. Looks like we all had the same favourites. I was a bit surprised how good they were.
I’ve never seen these before. I’m a huge potato chip fan, but I need to “wean” myself off as my daughter gets older and I want to role model healthy eating habits. I’ll check these out – thanks!
