Do you have a Star Wars fan in your home?
Are you going to see Rogue One: A Star Wars Story this holiday season?
My hubby is the biggest Star Wars fan that I know and he has shared his interest and excitement with our children too. They build Star Wars lego together and collect Star Wars figures (hubby even has a shelf at work dedicated to them!). They even participate in Lego Advent calendars at Christmas time, which I will be doing with them for the first time this year.
When Star Wars: The Force Awakens came out, my hubby and I went on a movie date to a VIP theatre and the kids were SO jealous. We felt it was important that we screen the video first. OK, I will admit that we also wanted to have an adult night out together too in a theatre that had no children. After all, we all need a break once in a while, right? This time, we are considering going as a whole family – we are very excited by the idea to share this experience of seeing Rogue One: A Star Wars Story together.
We have learned over the years that many of the toys out there for a Star Wars fan to enjoy require batteries, but they also always #PowerImagination. Trust me – this Mama and wife knows! And conveniently, Duracell is the official battery power for Star Wars franchise and its highly-anticipated new release, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,”.
I love that Duracell is taking children in hospitals on an adventure in a galaxy far, far away
from pain, stress and anxiety in order to help their healing process.
Please watch this adorable “How the Rebels Saved Christmas,” video featuring young patients forging an epic Star Wars duel while delivering a battery-powered toy to another patient’s hospital room.
You too can help support the healing power of imaginative play by going to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Is there a Star Wars fan in your family who is super excited to see Rogue One: A Star Wars Story?
Will you be going to see the movie when it comes out on December 16th?
