I’m always on the hunt for a unique and educational gift idea for kids. When I discovered Marmalade books, a unique book subscription, I was intrigued to learn more. Once received, I knew immediately that it would have to be listed on my Gift Ideas page for all parents to learn about.
When I received the Middle Grade Box, I immediately thought of my daughter as she absolutely adores reading books! In fact, today on the way to school, we were chatting about her 30 minutes of daily “reading homework”. Her response was, “Mom, really it shouldn’t be called homework because I love to read.” THAT my readers was music to this Mom’s ears!
The September box included a book that was typically out of my daughter’s “interest” or “comfort zone”, but because she was exposed to it in a subscription box, she was eager to give it a try. We were both pleasantly surprised and she is currently thoroughly enjoying the exposure to a new genre of book.
When you are stuck for what to purchase a child for their birthday or a holiday like Christmas, I highly encourage you to check out Marmalade Books. This is a fantastic gift idea FROM anyone, but it is especially a perfect gift from afar! They are a great idea for kids, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. This educational gift idea is also a great idea for teachers, librarians and adults who adore children’s books. The gift can even be personalized with a special card if it is a gift.
