Kids Need the Opportunity to Express Themselves!
Giving your children the opportunity to express themselves in a variety of ways is very important to their growth and personal development. Music can play a huge part in how a child feels about themselves and the world around them.
My children both love music. We often sit in the family room together, listening to music. We often get up to express ourselves when a specific song strikes us a certain way. It is fun to play, dance and sing when there are no rules involves and we can just be ourselves.
Music has so many benefits for children including:
- stress reduction
- increase in physical activity
- exercises the brain in different areas
- encourages creativity
- increased listening skills
This includes being free when it comes to music sometimes.
Let loose.
Be free.
Have fun.
Have no rules.
It’s amazing how good you feel after letting loose with a fun musical experience.

I think music provides children with a release and an opportunity to let go of daily expectations and relax.

I think music helps in so many ways but I think one of the most important things it does is to increase brain activity.
It helps them express themselves in ways e do not always understand. Music is medicine for the soul.

My kids have gotten so much from being exposed to music! My oldest definitely uses it as a way to express himself and it has helped him come out of his shell more.
