Do you enjoy campfires during the summer? Do you typically roast marshmallows? What is a campfire without roasted marshmallows, right?!
I’ve got a new twist on the roasted marshmallows and it is called Campfire Peanut Butter Cup S’mores! The Peanut Bureau of Canada prepared the fixings for me and some fellow bloggers to make our own over a hot campfire and they were the most delicious treat ever!
My only advice is make sure you bring enough for seconds and you have plenty of wet cloths available for afterwards!
Oh and parents, practice saying the words
“NO MORE Campfire Peanut Butter Cup S’mores”!
They are THAT good!
- 1/4 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
- 8 graham cracker wafers
- 12 mini peanut butter cups
- 4 marshmallows
- Spread peanut butter over graham cracker wafers. Place 3 peanut butter cups on top of the peanut butter of 4 of the crackers.
- Toast marshmallows over fire to desired golden brown colour. Place 1 toasted marshmallow on each cracker with the peanut butter cups. Top with second graham cracker wafers. Squish together to form s’mores.
Peanuts have health benefits for you, when eaten in moderation, that I bet you didn’t even know about! There are so many creative ways to cook with peanuts and peanut butter.
