Why do I want a healthier lifestyle?

This is an amazing removable, reusable and re-positionable sticker from Thought Spots to motivate me every time I walk into the kitchen.
I can and I will….
  • feel good about myself
  • set a great example my children
  • live a long and healthy life
  • smile more
  • be more active
  • eat less
  • make healthier food choices
  • drink more water

I will accomplish all of those above goals and then some this year because I am worth it.

That was hard to say, but it’s out there now and I can’t turn back.

So, with the support of my friends, my family and all of you, I will start my journey to living a healthier lifestyle and feeling better about myself!

Reading this post from Living High on the Hog Blog truly started me into high gear and made me realize that I CAN do this!

    Congratulations on making a decision to live a healthier life! Having made the same resolution in 2012, I can say that it is completely manageable and you can do it! To answer your question, I am constantly working on adding more veggies to my diet, but it’s easy when I add at least 1 to every single meal that we eat.

    Woo hoo! I feel the same, I’ll help you along! With moving closer, we can go for walks again, and motivate one another! I’m actually going to join a gym again (using my corporate discount for Goodlife, I have a few friends with memberships so we’re going to go together). I’ve been trying to drink more water for the past year or so, and carrying around a large, re-usable water bottle has really helped me with that (especially during the school day, I’m trying to drink often because it can be dehydrating speaking all day). The most important thing about what you wrote above is this: YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!! I love that “smile more” is on your list, that’s so important!

  4. Thank you for your support, Ms Key! It means so much to me and I know you’ll encourage me to stay “in line”! I am also joining Goodlife – that was my gift for Christmas! A gift for so many reasons. And yes, I’d love to walk more and possibly do Goodlife with you too.

    Oh, awesome about Goodlife! I find joining a gym WITH people to be really helpful, because I’m SO BAD about going alone, hahaha. We can definitely go together! My membership will be good for any location, so I’m flexible about where. Mine doesn’t start until February 1st, though. But once I move I’ll be good to go! 🙂
