FUN Elf on the Shelf Ideas

The Elf on a Shelf is a brand new tradition for our family this Christmas. The morning after the Christmas decorations went up, Jack came to visit.

Jack is the name we gave our little scout elf who was sent from the North Pole to help Santa keep track of which kids have been naughty and which kids have been nice. Each night he flies back to report about the day’s activities. In the morning he is perched in a different place.

My kids love waking up in the morning and searching for Jack. Even though they are not allowed to touch him (for fear that he will lose his magic!), they delight in the game of searching for him and discovering what mischief he has been up to.

My eldest is only five, so Jack needs to be easy to find, and of course – not too racy.

Here are pictures of what Jack has been up to so far this year…
