What is Qi’a?
Qi’a (pronounced Kee-ah) is a NEW Superfood Cereal made with Chia, Hemp and Buckwheat from Nature’s Path. It is full of plant-based protein, fiber and Omega-3’s.
Qi’a comes in three blends:
- vanilla-dusted cranberries and almonds
- a blend of cinnamon raisins and green apples
- an original blend with ZERO added sugar

If you are a fan of Cornbread and you are looking for a healthier version, this is definitely a recipe you should try out. It was a tad dry, so I did add a small bit of butter to mine when I had it for a snack, but it would go well with a soup or stew.
I have also enjoyed a couple of Tablespoons of Qi’a cereal in with my morning yogurt as an additional nutrition boost. I have found that it really helps to keep me feeling fuller for a longer period of time.
The last way that I enjoyed Qi’a is sprinkled over a salad. I love an added bit of crunch to my salads!

It does sound like a great thing over salads. Ive tried plain chia but never the hemp – a mix would be cool.
I’ll have to check this out, it sounds amazing on yogurt in the morning.
