Last winter, we received an adorable animal humidifier from CRANE to test out. This humidifier made a world of different in our house, especially when my daughter got sick and needed extra moisture in the air to help her breathe.
This year, we are testing out the Tear Drop shaped Cool Mist Humidifier from CRANE and I am happy to say that we are giving it a big thumbs up in our house. The one feature about this particular model that I really like is the ability to aim the direction of the mist!
Just like the animal one, we had to ensure that we were using the unit on a hard surface and I also protect the carpet around the area with a towel, as the mist that falls does make things rather damp. However, it really does work to keep the air moist and it helps my children breathe better.
UPDATE: We have received a couple of tips from CRANE that to prevent damp carpet and surrounding areas, ensure that you put your humidifier on a hard, high surface and run it at approximately 75%. I will be sure to use these tips the next time we use the humidifiers!
I also love how you can manage the amount of mist by the simple turn of a button. The unit also has an auto shut-off feature that I like so that if it happens to run out of water in the middle of the night, it will turn off.
My son really likes the way the humidifier glows in his room. This makes the unit a special “treat” for him when he does get sick! It’s something to look forward to when falling asleep with a cold is challenging.
