The holidays are definitely a special time for us all, but they can also be rather hectic and busy too. Multi-Testing Mommy would like to suggest that all you Moms out there take a bit of time for yourselves so that you can be the best Moms you can be! You have to take care of #1 in order to take care of the rest of the family, right?
P&G Can Help You Feel Beautiful
Playing hostess is always a bit demanding, especially during the holidays. Between planning a festive feast and decking your halls, remember to take some time to pamper yourself. Try taking a few minutes the night before your big event to decompress in the tub while hydrating your dry winter locks with something quick and easy, such as Pantene Moisture Mask. While your treatment sits you can use your Venus & Olay razor and Satin Care with a Touch of Olay Shave Gel to get touchable and smooth legs. Be sure to protect your luscious locks from simple blow drying to holiday styling with a quick mist of shine, such as Herbal Essences Set Me Up Heat Protection Spray. Try picking out your outfit the night before. The less you have to think about, the better. For the day of the celebration, keep your makeup easy, breezy and beautiful. Mascara alone can really bring your look from average to amazing. For a long-lasting impact to last from morning to night, try CoverGirl LashBlast 24 Hour Mascara. Finish off your look with your favourite shade of CoverGirl Blast Flipstick, ready to pucker up under the mistletoe.
P&G Can Help You Be Fresh and Tide-y
Keep your cool during the holidays and avoid embarrassing moments by being prepared with Secret Outlast deodorant, which gives you 48 hours of odour protection to outlast your day.
Slips and spills are inevitable, especially with holiday dinners, baking and parties, but you can be prepared. Keep Tide to Go in your purse to clean up a stain on your new blouse without starting a load –your guests will never be the wiser.
P&G Can Help You to Be Prepared
With all of the toys under the tree, many electronic, batteries are often an afterthought. By stocking up on long lasting batteries, like Duracell, you can avoid tears of frustration and keep the kids playing with their new toys for hours, while the adults get some much-needed grown-up time.

My tip is to prioritize and make lists. I find that a list will keep me organized and on top of what needs to be done.
Do what you can and don’t feel bad if things aren’t as perfect as you would like.
Don’t get stressed over the little things. And don’t hesitate to ask for help with tasks.
Have a special area or room for the kids and stock it with holiday movies, board games, etc.. to keep them busy and not bored.
I say leave the holiday hoopla behind and head to a tropical destination. 🙂
always be ready for an unexpected guest and try and relax and enjoy yourself
I learned to not overbook myself and to know when to say no. With 3 kids in school it got nuts with bake sales and concerts and craft fairs, So I pick a few and try not to feel guilty about the ones I cant do
Have activities and crafts organized for when your kids are off of school.
My survival tip is to prep early, and do a little each day starting in November. You will be ready early and can take your time. I usually leave the last week for just scrubbing the house from top to bottom. It feels great to have such a nice clean house, and be able to put all our new things somewhere b/c we cleaned out spots to make room for them.
Ask for help from family and friends when you need it or offer help if is offered. Don’t try to take on everything yourself.
Plan, plan, plan! Use a calender to ensure you are not overbooking yourself or forgetting events
Be sure to take some time for yourself to relax.
I’m a list maker. I check things off as I complete them & it is a visual aid to let me know I’m making progress.

My tip is to just take it easy….I always want everything perfect and never have a moments rest and then I regret not having spent the time I wanted too with everyone. So lets jsut take it easy everything will be fine 🙂

Christmas can bring out the best and sometimes the worst in people. A time of joy but also a time of stress. Holiday survival tip – SLOW DOWN. Take the time to sit and rest one’s mind and spirit. Close your eyes, breathe slow and celebrate being alive !

try to stay calm and keep reminding yourself that it’s not about giving the ‘perfect’ gifts, or wrapping them ‘perfectly’, or even making an amazing meal. it’s about having some down time to enjoy with friends and family – so relax and have a good time 🙂 – it’s the good things that you want to remember – not the stresses.
