A few of us have decided to share our Healthy Adventures with you in a weekly post called “Let’s Get Healthy Together”. Please join us in reading about our adventures and sharing yours OR by providing us some encouragement in the comments! We need it!
You can read my previous Get Healthy posts here to get all caught up. To get you up to speed, I’ve gained almost 10 pounds this summer! GAH!
Last week, I posted I’ll Show You Mine if You Show Me Yours where I showed pictures of my uncleaned/organized fridge and freezer. I would love for more people to link up! Don’t you want to be nosey and check out what my fridge looks like?!
Next week, I will be trying out a new product! I am going to start taking PGX to help me feel fuller longer and to help regulate my blood sugars. I have a variety of PGX products to try out including PGX Daily Softgels, PGX Daily Granules and SATISFAST, PGX & Whey Protein. I am looking forward to seeing how taking PGX changes how I feel! Stay tuned next week for an update!
Here is a cool video where Dr. Oz explains what sugars do to your blood stream and how fibre can help to level it all out! Check it out:
This summer, one of the things that I have done is not watched my sugar intake as much. This was a huge mistake because I have found that my moods haven’t been as stable and my cravings have been all over the place, ALL.DAY.LONG! I remember back to January when I first cut sugars out of my diet – it was like my cravings disappeared almost completely. The less sugar you eat, the less you crave it, it is so true! You just have to get over the initial first couple of days and it truly does get easier. So now, it’s my turn again to listen to my own words and cut out that sugar!
What is the one thing that you really need to limit or cut out of your diet?
