McCain® Harvest Splendour™ Medleys {REVIEW} and {GIVEAWAY}

With our busy lives, getting dinner on the table, family style is often a challenge for many families, ours included. Companies like McCain® are listening to our challenges. They have come up with McCain® Harvest Splendour™ Medleys; a package of potatoes, vegetables and seasons.

These packages are found in the freezer section of your grocery store. Making them is as simple as opening your freezer, dumping the contents into a fry pan, mixing it all together and cook.

Harvest Splendour™ Medleys come in four different variations: Potato and Broccoli Medley, Potato and Carrot Medley, Three Potato Medley and Yukon Gold Potato and Mushroom Medley.

Potato and Broccoli Medley

  • potatoes, broccoli, red peppers and red onions with a parmesan seasoning

Potato and Carrot Medley

  • potatoes, carrots, red peppers and red onions in a savoury seasoning

Three Potato Medley

  • russet, red skin and sweet potatoes

Yukon Gold Potato and Mushroom Medley

  • potatoes, roasted cremini mushrooms, green beans and red onions

I found these to be very convenient and easy to make, however I did have to cook them longer than the recommended time on the package in order to achieve desired results.

We have some picky eaters in our family, so admittedly these medleys were not as big of a hit as I had originally hoped, but they are definitely worth trying because if they are a hit with your family like I know they were in The Knit Wit’s family, this would make a lovely accompaniment to any meal.

I especially like how low in fat these meals are at 2 – 2.5 grams of fat per serving.

You can follow McCain Canada on their Facebook Page.

Would you like to try out McCain® Harvest Splendour™ Medleys in your family? We’ve got 4 FREE PRODUCT COUPONS to give away to one lucky winner.
Open to Canadian Residents only.

    I live alone, but Mr. Lock and I eat meals together two or three times a week when he is visiting. He likes to cook, so typically he’s the meal prep guy! He moves in with me in June, so I think I’ll be eating really well then. Back home growing up, we ate together nearly every night!
