Astro Greek Yogurt {REVIEW} and {GIVEAWAY}

Only recently have I tried out Greek Yogurt and until then, I had a poor idea about what it was. Now, Greek yogurt to me is a delicious, thick and high in protein yogurt.

Astro Greek Yogurt is a yummy Greek yogurt option! It is made from natural ingredients and has double the amount of protein found in other Astro yogurts.

This yogurt was voted by Canadian Consumers as the Best New Yogurt Product of 2012!

It is available in plain, honey, strawberry and peach with some varieties having a fat free option.

Astro.ca has a wonderful variety of recipes on thier website to check out.

I made a scrumptious smoothie the other day.

I froze some of the greek yogurt in a silcone icecube tray and added those plus a few other ingredients to my blender and whipped up a delicious smoothie. The greek yogurt certainly did help to make it rich, thick and creamy! I didn’t even have to add as much protein powder as I usually do knowing that the greek yogurt is higher in protein.

As an aside, the kids loved eating those frozen yogurt shapes! I did have to cut them into smaller pieces, but they sure do make a yummy treat on a warm day.

I did not end up finding the Astro Greek Yogurt at my regular grocery store, but it was stocked in plenty at our local small, independently run store! I tried out peach and strawberry and although they were both very yummy, strawberry was definitely my favourite.
